I love helping each person achieve healthy, beautiful smiles, and developing lasting relationships with them, too. Each of our patients is seen and treated as the unique individual they are, by Dr. Lu and all our team members, and we love each new, fascinating person we meet.
I cover all front-office duties, from answering the phones to greeting patients when they arrive and checking them in and out. I also review treatment planning and verify insurance benefits for our patients, then handle billing for both medical and dental insurances. My priority is to make sure the office runs in a smooth and efficient manner, so the patients have the best experience.

I enjoy spending my days talking with and building long-term relationships with our patients. It’s a pleasure to ensure that each visit here is a positive experience, and I love seeing their smiles when they’re finished with their care.
I provide chairside assistance to Dr. Lu during dental procedures, and make sure he has everything he needs, while supporting our patient. I also consult with our patients who have obstructive sleep apnea: we discuss oral appliances and how they can successfully treat the issue. Finally, I see to it that our back office runs smoothly, so our team can focus on what’s important: delivering exceptional care to our patients!
I love helping our patients throughout their visits to our practice. Some come in scared or nervous, and I work hard to calm them and make them feel more comfortable. Because we practice painless dentistry, and Dr. Lu works one-to-one with each patient to make sure they’re okay with each aspect of their care, patients soon learn there’s nothing to worry about.
I assist Dr. Lu while he cares for a patient. I also pour models, take impressions and dental X-rays, and sterilize our equipment and instruments. The most important thing I do, though, is interact with each patient and make sure they know they’re in a safe space.
Registered Dental Hygienist
As a hygienist, I get to connect with my patients not only on a professional level, but on a personal level. Working closely with each person, I build relationships with them, and learn about their lives and interests. This helps me find the best home oral hygiene practices and products that will work with their clinical and lifestyle needs.
While I clean a patient’s teeth, screen for oral cancer, and perform other processes that improve the health of the patient’s mouth, I talk with them about their dental health. When I can help a person understand why it’s important to keep their mouth in great condition, and give them the tools and knowledge to do so, I know I’ve done a good thing.
Front Office Receptionist
It’s a great feeling to see the smiles on people’s faces when they arrive for their appointment. The fact that they smile when coming to see the dentist means they know they will be treated gently while here and don’t need to worry about anything during their visit. And when a patient is leaving? They’re still smiling, because everything has been painless and gone easily for them!
As our front office receptionist, I greet patients as they arrive and invite them to relax in our reception area. Patients never have to wait very long because we run on time and refuse to overschedule. I’m here to assist our patients with whatever they need.
